ANOTHER SWIMMER, ANOTHER SCHOLARSHIP; JEFF HAS MULTIPLE SWIMMERS DURING SPRING SIGNING PERIOD

Jeffersonville, Ind., April 29, 2014—Another swimmer, another scholarship.

Senior Tyler Sariscsany, a four-year Varsity letter winner and state qualifier, became the third swimmer to sign to a college this spring. Sariscsany will spend the 2014-15 swimming season as a member of Rose Hulman’s Fightin’ Engineers men’s team.

Sariscsany had a solid senior year, qualifying for the state event in three separate events: the 50-meter free, the 100-meter free and the 400-meter free relay. He was also an Academic All-American and All-State.

While he qualified for state in the 50 and 100 free, Sariscsany placed 11th in the 400 free relay. In that same 400 event, he holds the Hoosier Hills Conference record, as well as being named the HHC Champion. He also took home HHC honors in the 200-meter Medley and 200-meter Free.

When Sariscsany opens up the 2014-15 season, he won’t be too far from home, as the Rose-Hulman team begins in West Lafayette, Ind. at the Indiana Intercollegiates. He will also be expected to pick up right where the Fightin’ Engineers’ left off during their ‘13-’14 season, where the team finished second in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW).
