Walden Champs

Last night, the girls track and field team made their appearance well known as they competed at the Clash of the Classes Walden Invitational. Junior Jhala Henry had a perfect night taking home four first place finishes in the sprints (100, 200, 400 and mile relay). Paired with senior Hailey Lacy, who won the long jump, placed second in the 800, and led the mile relay; the duo led their team to finish on top. Louisville school’s North Oldham and Sacred Heart Academy finished second and third among the dozen other teams that were present. This weekend, the team will compete in the Coach Cooper Invite at St. X.
