Meet Recap

What a meet! Sunny skies, 20 teams, and 650+ athletes competing. Evansville Harrison won big but Jeffersonville’s young squad showed heart and big potential. While the Devils had no more wins after Friday night, they were able to earn a lot of points from finishing 1 – 8. Evansville Harrison was obviously the better team this weekend but our young squad will continue to improve and hopefully win some meets along the way.
Worth mentioning are Tony Cappola winner of the pole vault, Dayna Overton winner of the shot put, and Victor Dailey winner of the high jump. Freshmen Isaac Findley continues to impress scoring in both the 100 and the 200 dashes, our 4 x 800 squad finished second, and Jacoby Haynes picked up some points in all of his events (100, HJ, and LJ).
