Meet Recap

Our guys did an outstanding job today! This was the race that I have been waiting to see all year. They ran in a nice pack as long as they were able today and all of the top 5 were passing people in the homestretch. It was a very fun race to watch and we really needed this after our past two meets were rather disappointing. This was a tough course with some stiff competition. I actually thought that Seymour had beaten us but we pulled it off! The entire varsity squad showed some serious grit today and the results were exactly what they deserved. Kyle Sanders has had a sub-par year until today. He ran extremely well, nice pace, and strong finish. Allen Pettis and Brennan Schansberg were right behind Kyle and they pushed themselves very well. Hunter Day is getting closer to running a complete race with the top 3, and Tyler Wheeler ran the best race of his life to work his way back into the varsity lineup. It was a great day to be a Red Devil!

Note: there was no listing for the Homeschool Union on this app so their 6th place finish was omitted above.
