On Saturday the Jeff Men’s Swimming and Diving team traveled to Columbus East and won their 5th consecutive HHC Championship.
The relay team of Evan Shive, Max Weidekamp, T Martin and Tyler Sariscsany started the meet with a Medley Relay Championship. T Martin followed up in the next event with a championship in the 200 Free while breaking a 15 year old HHC record in the event.
Max Weidekamp and Tyler Sariscsany followed up with runner-up finishes in the 200 IM and 50 Free respectively.
Evan Shive won the 100 Fly championship, missing the HHC record by less than .10 of a second.
Zach Daily was runner-up in the 500 Free. The 500 Free was the event where the Red Devils put away Floyd Central for good – finishing 2-3-4 with Daily, Sophomore Michael Cain 3rd and Freshman Kevin Gast 4th.
Tyler, Evan and T were joined by Zach Griffis as they won the 200 Free Relay in HHC record time. The same four guys finished the meet with a victory and HHC record in the 400 Free Relay.
Senior T Martin finishes his career with a perfect 16 of 16 HHC Titles / All-Conference selections in his four year career. Only two other swimmers in school history.
