Game Recap

Jeffersonville was defeated by Floyd Cental 49-55. The Red Devils got out to a hot start opening the first quarter out with a 13 to 2 lead. The Highlanders clawed their way back and cut the Jeffersonville lead to 5 at the end of the first, 17 to 12. The Red Devils’ offense went stagnant in the second period and Floyd Central outscored 6 to 12 and had a 1 point lead at half-time. Jeffersonville’s offensive troubles extended into the third period where Floyd outscored them by 7 points. Jeffersonville made a run at the end of the fourth period to close the gap, but the deficit was too great. Floyd Central held onto the victory. Jeffersonville was led in scoring by Bailey Falkenstein with 18 points and Gerrin Moore added 12. Jeffersonville’s JV pulled out a 48-42 victory over Floyd Central. The Red Devils were led by Jaden Coleman with 24 points. Taj Sanders and Trevis Oglesby with 6 points each. The Red Devils will be back in action on Saturday at Providence.
