Meet Recap

Our girls are still trying to find their way around injuries and illness. We have not had a complete healthy team all year. Today was no exception though we did look better than in recent meets. Haley Nichols continues to be our top runner with no challenger behind her though Rocio Lozada is improving immensely as the season progresses. Destiney Rudolph was ill and Taylor Wooten has been battling illness for a while so it is very hard to tell how this season might end. We just need to get well and Kiersten Poor has to begin to run to her potential. She is learning and improving but hasn’t yet realized that she can be very good. Amirah Daugharty is a first-year senior that is now pushing for a top 5 spot so she might be extremely important if we are to advance in the tourney. Overall, considering all of the setbacks, today was a good day.
