The Jeffersonville boys and girls swimming team had yet another sweep at a dual meet, going undefeated against Madison and Henryville. With combined scores, the Red Devils downed conference foe Madison, 213-83, and Henryville, 220-44.
Despite the senior girls getting a rare night off, the girls team picked up a 103-46 victory over Madison and a 106-39 win over Henryville. The Red Devils won every event on the evening.
Leading the way for JHS was Bonnie Dixon, who placed first in all five of her events. Megan McEwen won four of her events, while Sydney Flora, Mairin Klaus and Alyssa Miller won three events each. Emma Ellis and Elizabeth Dixon also placed in first on the evening.
The boys were equally as impressive in their win. They downed Madison 110-37, and nearly shut-out Henryville, 114-5.
Carter Dilger and Kameron Case won four events each, with Levin Martin, Matthew Begin and Kelly Padgett picking up wins in three events. Drew Nelson had two victories on the evening, and Marcus McEwen added one of his own.
Both teams will be back in action on Thursday against one of their biggest foes — Floyd Central. The meet will take place at FC, and is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
