On Friday night the Red Devils Boys Tennis Team put on a dominating performance in their last HHC match of the tournament. We also celebrated our Seniors Eli Cochrum, Quinn Lemon, and Ben Eiten. All 3 of these seniors have been major varsity contributors this year and have really improved a ton the year i've coaching the program. At 1 singles Eli Cochrum put on a complete match performance and was too solid for his opponent, he won 6-1, 6-3. #2 and #3 singles players Matthew Lowe and Teddy Burnette showed up with more of the same. Solid wins, both 6-1, 6-2. At #1 doubles Ryan Crawford and Javier Gomez were too much for their opponents. They won 6-1, 6-1. At 2 doubles seniors Quinn Lemon and Ben Eiten got off to a slow start going down 0-3 right away. They were able to clean up their tennis, and won the first set in a tiebreaker. #2 doubles never looked back and took the match 7-6(3), 6-0. That takes our head to head record to 5-7 to end the regular season. We have played a top 15 schedule for most of the year. We have been getting closer and closer to these highly ranked teams. This team could be dangerous if they catch fire in the post season. Up next we await the sectional draw on Monday. At this point the season is win or go home.
