The Lady Red Devils saw their 2023 campaign end in heartbreaking fashion as they fell to Bedford in five sets. Jeff jumped out early in the first set to a giant lead, and lead by as many as 12 behind some great serving from Jenna Kelley. However, BNL pushed back little by little and at one point took a one point lead in the set. Jeff did jsut enough to regain the momentum and close out the tight first set 27-25. Set two was all Red Devils and BNL did not challenge as the set ended 25-12 in favor of Jeff. From there the tide completly turned. Several untimely errors from the service line (22 for the match) over the next three sets never allowed the Red Devils to gain any sort of momentum as they played from behind in each set, ending their season with a reverse sweep. Jeff was led with a season high effort from Avain Doogarsingh who had 20 kills on 32.5% hitting. Kelley added 12 kills. Nevaeh Griffin had a season and career high 39 assists on the night.
