The Lady Devils Fall Short

On November 7th, the Jeffersonville Lady Red Devils traveled to Jasper High School where they fell short with a score of 47-44 to the Jasper Wildcats. The Jasper Wildcats lead 11-10 at the end of the first quarter. The Lady Red Devils fought hard bringing the score to 19-17 going into halftime. To start third quarter both teams came out ready to play, the Lady Devils closed the third quarter with a score of 32-28, despite foul trouble. To start the 4th both teams came out ready to win, unfortunately for the Lady Devils the Jasper Wildcats went on a scoring run where they took the lead and ended the game with the final score of 47-44. Johnson scored a game-high of 18 points to lead the way for the Lady Red Devils. Followed by Elle Marble who had 11 points. The Lady Red Devils will hit the road again on Saturday November 11th where they will face Anderson High School. JV will start at 4:30 and varsity will follow.
