The Jeffersonville Lady Red Devils celebrated their four seniors on Saturday January 6th as they took on Evansville North. Although off to a slow start in the first quarter the Lady Devils trailed 13-6. The second quarter the Lady Red Devils tried to take to get themselves back in the game and take the lead. Despite Senior Elle Marble hitting 2 big 3’s and the Red Devils out scoring the Huskies 14-13 in the 2nd quarter, they still trailed 26-20 at the half. To start the second half the Lady Devils came ready to fight, knowing they had to dominate the second half in order to win the game. The third quarter the Lady Devils out scored the Huskies 17-3, all 3 of their points coming from the free throw line. Finally taking the lead the Devils closed up the third leading 37-29. To start the fourth Evansville North answered closing the gap, the Red Devils knew it would be a fight until the final second of the game. The Lady Red Devils and Huskies both scored 11 points in the fourth. The Devils were able to capture the win on Senior Day 48-40. Keziah Renee’ led the Devils with 15 points, followed by Elle Marble who had 12.
