Jeffersonville traveled north last night to take on a strong Center Grove team. The Trojans were in control much of the first half thanks in part to the hot shooting from Joey Schmitz. Thanks to Michael Cooper’s defense in the second half, Jeffersonville was able to make several small runs to help cut Center Grove’s lead but ultimately fell short. P.J. Douglas paced the Red Devils scoring effort with 20 points, followed by Tre Singleton with 13 points. Jeff travels to North Vernon tonight in a conference matchup against Jennings County.
