In a conference battle with host, Jennings County, Jeffersonville escaped North Vernon with a win and share of the HHC regular season crown. The sharpshooting Panthers came out scorching from downtown and quickly established a double-digit lead. The Red Devils quickly rallied and held on to a two point lead at half. Jennings County guard, Carter Kent, poured in 30 points and was contained just enough for Jeff to hang on. P.J. Douglas led Jeffersonville in scoring with 27 points while Michael Cooper added 25 points. Jeff’s next matchup is slated for February 16th, as they travel to Evansville Reitz.
