SURVIVE AND ADVANCE — Jeffersonville made the all too familiar trip back to Lloyd E. Scott Gymnasium last night to kick off Sectional 15 against Seymour. Their last visit on December 8th, resulted in a buzzer-beating three pointer by the Owls but this game had a much different outcome. Jeff’s defense was clicking all on cylinders, allowing just 16 points to the Owls in the first-half. The Red Devils quickly put the game out of reach when jumping out to an 8-0 run to open the 3rd quarter. Seymour simply could not muster anything offensively to help chip away at the growing lead. To close the game, Jeff played keep away much of the 4th quarter to preserve a massive lead. Tre Singleton led all scorers with 19 points while Michael Cooper chipped in 12 points.
