Familiar foe, same result. Jeffersonville was simply too much for Floyd Central in last night’s sectional 15 matchup. After knocking off the Highlanders earlier this year by a wide margin, this result was no different. The Red Devils were clicking on all cylinders. Jeff’s lead quickly swelled and Floyd Central had no answers, falling behind 28-12 at halftime. The second half was no different; too much Jeff. The big three of Cooper, Douglas and Singleton helped lut the game well out of reach. Jeremy Rose and Gilly Polk provided bursts of energy as well, both tallying 8 points. P. J. Douglas led all scorers with 14 points, Tre Singleton pitched in 13 points and Michael Cooper added 11 points. Jeff will take on New Albany tonight in the Sectional 15 Championship at 7:30PM.
