3-30-24 Red Devils Sweep Doubleheader The Red Devils baseball squad picks up a pair of victories behind strong pitching and timely hitting. In game one the Red and White used an eight run second inning to cruise to a 14-4 six inning victory. Sophomore Tripp Reuter picked the victory on the mound, throwing five strong innings. Reutter allowed four runs while striking out 5 and surrending one walk. The Red Devils were led by junior Ryan Crawford at the plate. Crawford had three hits and four RBI. In game two the Red Devils defeated Madison by a score of 7-2. JHS used a strong pitching performance by senior Caiden White. White pitched five innings allowing 2 earned runs while striking out 8. The Red and White put up six runs in the second inning led by homeruns by senior Lane Jaggers and senior Jaret Phillips. The JHS baseball squad returns to action on Tuesday as they host Floyd Central at 6PM.
