It was another long night for the men's volleyball time, but this time in Johnson Arena they were able to secure the 5 set win over the visiting Dragons from Silver Creek. Jeff found its way on the wrong side of the score early on in the first four sets, having to battle back and take the first set after trailing by five at one point. More of the same in set two but the host were not able to complete the comeback. In the third set Jeff fell behind early, down 4 at one point before going on a 10-0 run. Jeff led by as many as 12 in the set before completing the win 25-16. It looked like the Red Devils were ready to wrap up the match in the fourth set, but back-to-back service errors and miscommunication on fireballs let the visitors steal the set 24-26. That was the fire Jeff needed to seal the deal. The Red Devils came out quick and never looked back taking the deciding set 15-5. Jeff was paced with another huge night by Luke Stracener with 29 kills, 16 digs, 11 receptions that tallied a 2.55 passer rating. Malachi Crowder was wearing a target all night as the libero. He amassed 41 receptions and 16 digs on the night, and chipped in 7 asssist anchoring Jeff's out-of-system efforts. Joel Ramirez and Jordan Rogers combined for 37 assist.
