The junior varsity and varsity teams came up just short against conference rival Floyd Central. The Highlanders scored the lone goal midway through the first half of the junior varsity game. That was the difference maker as the game finished zero to one in favor of Floyd Central. The varsity match was equally thrilling, but the Red Devils couldn't see the game through losing one to two. Jeffersonville led at halftime thanks to Edwin Mendez poke past the Highlander goalie. Floyd found its footing in the second half as their two second half goals turned the tide in their favor.
