Oct 19, 2024 - Crawford County High School. The Red Devils competed in the first round of the state tournament today at the IHSAA Sectional 23 at Crawford County High School. The girls had four runners on the course today advancing two to Regionals; Anabelle Hertweck and Keira Jackson. Keira turned in a new personal best time of 24:06.6 today. In a heartbreaker, Liz Gonzalez missed transferring to Regionals by one spot. A mere 3.9 seconds off. Liz also ran a personal best of 24:11.5. The boys team also turned in several PR's and season best times enroute to a 7th place team finish. Ari Santos-Moore paced the boys with a season best time of 17:48.4. His brother, Isa Santos-Moore was right behind at 17:48.5 and junior Larry Lucio rounded out the devils heading to Evansville's Regional with a new personal best time of 18:14.3.
