Lady Red Devils Start the Season with a Win

The Jeffersonville Lady Red Devils started the season on the road, both JV and Varsity ending the day with huge wins. The Lady Red Devils started the game with a huge first quarter. With 6 players contributing offensively the Lady Devils led 23-15. Kelis Dansby having a huge first quarter with 8 points. Despite struggling a little more offensively in the 2nd quarter and only putting up 9 points the Lady Devils led 32-30 at the half. To start the second half intensity was picked up on the defensive end. Makenna Taylor contributed hugely to the Red Devils scoring 6 of the team’s 15 points of the quarter, going 6/6 at the Free Throw line. The Devils led 49-43 to end the 3rd. With the Knights foul trouble the Red Devils were able to close out the 4th quarter out scoring the Knights 14-10. The Lady Red Devils were led by Kelis Dansby who had 24 points and Makenna Taylor who finished with 15. Other scorers included Alyviah Redd (10 points), Makenzie Mason (7 points), Maizy Smith (3 points), and Katie Lawrence (2 points). The Red Devils will be back in action against Jasper at Home on Tuesday November 12th.
