Women’s Red Devils Shine at 47th Annual Jeff Classic (third for women) The Jeffersonville Women’s Wrestling Team left their mark at the 47th Annual Jeff Classic, one of the region’s most competitive and historic tournaments. Competing for the third consecutive year, the Red Devils battled against elite teams from Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri, and Illinois to secure a strong 6th-place finish with 87.5 points. A Tradition of Excellence With powerhouse programs like tournament champions Mooresville (238 points) and runner-up Jennings County (196 points) in the mix, Jeffersonville proved their mettle despite fielding just eight competitors. The team’s ability to score consistently in deep brackets highlights their determination and efficiency. Outstanding Individual Performances Two Red Devils stood out among the competition: • Kaylea Beauchamp continued her dominant season, capturing first place in her weight class and extending her undefeated record to 21-0. This marks Beauchamp’s second consecutive Jeff Classic title, solidifying her position as one of the state’s top wrestlers. • Abby Lemon showcased her grit and skill with a remarkable third-place finish in her weight class. Lemon’s performance demonstrates her consistency and leadership as a returning state qualifier.
