The Jeffersonville Red Devils Boys Basketball team opened IHSAA sectional play on Tuesday night with over the defending class 3A state champions, the Scottsburg Warriors by a score of 82-49. The Warriors moved up to class 4A for the tournament this season and next (2025-26) due to the success factor. The trio of Tre Singleton, Michael Cooper, P.J. Douglas and a strong, deep Red Devils bench proved to be too much for the Warriors to overcome. The Red Devils will now face Bedford North Lawrence in the semi-finals on Friday March 7th at Seymour. The Red Devils and Stars played a regular season, HHC game at Bedford North Lawrence on Jan 31st. The Red Devils won the game 48-39. Game time is set for 6pm.
