Evan Dickson (Bellarmine University signee) successfully defended his Sectional titles in the 200 and 500 freestyle this past Saturday at Highland Hills Middle School at the IHSAA Swim/Dive Sectional hosted by Floyd Central High School. Evan broke the meet record in the 500 freestyle, which happened to be the only meet record set of the day. He will swim at the IHSAA State Finals meet this Friday, March 3rd (Prelims) and again on Saturday, March 4th (Finals) at IUPUI. Also advancing was diver Jaxon Hearne who finished 3rd at the IHSAA Sectional meet and will dive in the IHSAA Regionals this Tuesday Feb 21st at Jasper High School. Our JHS Boys Swim/Dive Team finished 4th overall of the 13 qualifying teams.
