5/10/23 - The Lady Devils fought to a 5th place finish in last nights Hoosier Hills Conference meet at Jennings County. The outnumbered Devils had several personal and season bests last night as they prepare for next week's Sectional. Sophomore Mariah Smith had a stellar performance. She finished 2nd in the 100M Dash with a personal best of 12.91 seconds; anchored the 4x100 Relay team to a 2nd place finish; had a 2nd place finish in the long jump and turned in another personal best in the 300 hurdles at 48.83 seconds while finishing 3rd. Other Devils that shined last night included: KeiAsia Camp with a PR in the 100 at 13.1 seconds in the 100M; Arielle Phillips with a season best time in the mile at 5:33.17 and a personal best in the 800 at 2:33.69; freshman Anabelle Hertweck with a personal best in the two mile at 14:29.52.
