The game was tied at one with Jeffersonville Varsity Red Devils batting in the bottom of the seventh when Brett Denby singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run. The pitching was strong on both sides. Logan Bingham struck out seven, while Dewees sat down three. Bingham was the winning pitcher for Jeffersonville Varsity Red Devils. The hurler lasted seven innings, allowing three hits and one run while striking out seven and walking one. Dewees was on the pitcher's mound for Silver Creek. Dewees went six and two-thirds innings, allowing two runs on nine hits, striking out three and walking zero. Caiden White went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Jeffersonville Varsity Red Devils in hits.
