In their second season, your Red Devils are moving on in the IBVCA/IHSAA State Tournament. The Red Devils were among 16 teams to win the very first SECTIONAL Championships across the state. They had to scratch and claw to get the championship match, battling a very game Silver Creek squad but prevailed with a 3-2 victory. The final scores from the semi-final were 17-25, 25-19, 25-17, 19-25, 15-8. An hour later they took the court to play New Albany, who dropped the first two sets against Madison earlier in the day, then reverse-swept them to make it to the title match. New Albany was still riding high and took the first set off the Devils, but Jeff won the next three straight away to capture their first-ever sectional championship: 28-30, 25-17, 25-23, 25-16 The Red Devils advance to the regional at Hamilton South Eastern next Saturday.
