Monday May 22 Jeffersonville Varsity Red Devils easily dispatched Columbus East Varsity Olympians 8-1 on Monday Jeffersonville Varsity Red Devils fired up the offense in the first inning. Brett Denby grounded out, scoring one run. Jeffersonville Varsity Red Devils tallied three runs in the fifth inning. The offensive onslaught came from a single by Ryan Crawford, a sac fly by Abe Vancampen, and a double by Jaden Hart. Caiden White was the winning pitcher for Jeffersonville Varsity Red Devils. White lasted five innings, allowing three hits and one run while striking out nine. Denby and Cole Singleton entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Parker Harris took the loss for Columbus East Varsity Olympians. Harris allowed five hits and four runs over three innings, striking out two and walking one. Jeffersonville Varsity Red Devils racked up 11 hits. Hart, Ethan Durbin, Crawford, and White all collected multiple hits for Jeffersonville Varsity Red Devils. White, Crawford, Durbin, and Hart all had two hits to lead Jeffersonville Varsity Red Devils. Hart led Jeffersonville Varsity Red Devils with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with seven stolen bases.
