Saturday, May 27 Jeffersonville Varsity Red Devils beat Seymour Varsity Owls 4-3 on Saturday. Jeffersonville Varsity Red Devils got things moving in the second inning, when Dakota Pitman singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run. Logan Bingham got the start for Jeffersonville Varsity Red Devils. The fireballer surrendered three runs on five hits over six innings, striking out five and walking zero. Michael Wright was on the pitcher's mound for Seymour Varsity Owls. Wright allowed eight hits and four runs over five innings, striking out one. Gavin Leavy threw two innings out of the bullpen. Jeffersonville Varsity Red Devils hit one home run on the day. Jaret Phillips had a homer in the fifth inning. Caiden White went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Jeffersonville Varsity Red Devils in hits. Jeffersonville Varsity Red Devils didn't commit a single error in the field. Aidan Niemi had nine chances in the field, the most on the team.
